First items

As starting characters, we are wearing 3 items: shirt, legs and shoes. In addition, we have a small bag and apples. Inventory can be found in the "Character" tab in the upper right panel.

Running and stamina

To move faster, we should turn on running mode. For this, there is a button in Controls in the Combat tab in the upper right panel. In running mode, we lose Stamina and train the Agility skill. You will learn more about skills later in the tutorial. You can find the stamina bar in Health Information in the character tab in the upper right panel. Stamina is important to ensure your character has the ability to run and jump. There are several options for rest:
- Sleeping in bed;
- Relaxing in the bathtub;
- Relaxing in hot springs;
- Drinking coffee that our pet brings;

Attack

To gain experience, you mainly have to defeat monsters. To start an attack, simply right-click on an enemy or click on the name of the enemy in the Battle window. You can find this module in the Combat tab in the upper right panel. Another option is to press the "F" key on the keyboard or the Aim Target button in the Battle module. This option selects the opponents one by one from the list of the Battle window. When you see a red circle around an enemy or an enemy is highlighted in red, it means you are attacking them.

Missions and quests

There are many quests in the game, which are described in the Missions and quests module. There are also tasks in the game that involve defeating many opponents. This type of task is called Tasks. The window of the Missions and quests and Task List module can be opened in the upper right panel in the Game tab. Task rewards go to mailbox or stash if they are stackable.

Food

When your character is hungry, your health drops. There are several ways to get food. You can get them from monsters in the form of loot, buy them in shops or stands with vegetables or fruits. Sometimes you have to prepare food. To do this, you need to put raw food on the stove (move the raw food while holding the left mouse button). You can eat prepared food - using the right mouse button. This is how you use objects, in this situation you use food to get calories.

NPC

Talking to an NPC can bring you many benefits. Just use the right mouse button on it. Remember to read the NPC's statements carefully, they may contain useful information. If the NPC is expecting a response, it underlines the word in red. You can rewrite it or click on it in the chat console.

Scrolls

Your ninja character can learn new jutsu techniques. The most common learning method is through scrolls that have specific requirements to use. Scrolls are items that you can get from a scroll box, obtain in missions or buy in stores. To check the description of an item, just click the left and right mouse buttons at the same time. In the case of scrolls, this will be information about the jutsu and the requirements for its use.

Jutsu

Jutsu is a technique that requires specific skills. There are many types of jutsu, some can defend you, others can attack your enemy, and some can buff or heal you and your friends. To use a known jutsu, just say the name or use the jutsu bar in the Combat tab on the top right panel. The Jutsu bar features auto-casting jutsu, items, messages, and more. This can help you in training, fighting monsters or players.
Try the Jutsu bar options by right-clicking on any slot on the Jutsu bar.

Skills

Skills measure one's proficiency in a certain ability.
Level represent the experience of your character. It is often required to use jutsu as well as transformations.
Ninjutsu is also required to use jutsu, and also increases the injuries of your jutsu. You can train this by burning the chakra or simply using jutsu.
Taijutsu increases your damage by gloves or fists, Blade Attack by blades and Throwing by distance weapons. To train it, attack with weapon of specific type.
Chakra Control is required to use jutsu. You can train it by climbing a tree, walking on the water and fish treatment.
Attack Speed makes you deal damage faster with auto attacks. To train it, just attack.
Avoiding increases dodge chance, duration of stun durability bonuses, and other crowd control options. You can train it by exposing yourself to injuries or hits.
Agility increases the speed of running. You can train it by running. Remember, to run you need at least 1% stamina.
Note that there are training weapons that speed up the training process, including taijutsu, kenjutsu, throwing, attack speed and agility.

Selling items

On Naruto Story, you can sell your items quickly. Simply select the Sell option from the item menu. To open the item menu, press CTRL + Right Mouse Button on it.

Defeat

In the event of a defeat, when our character loses all their life points, we draw 3 options. They contain a pool of losses that we will incur after choosing a given option. The pool of losses may include money (rin), level, and skills. If we are lucky, we can draw a golden pig Tonton, which ensures no losses. It cannot be obtained by a player with a red skull. Premium players lose 20% less during defeat. Players with a red skull lose 250% more.

Jump and dash

To jump, press space. While jumping, you dodge all enemy attacks. In addition, your speed increases significantly. You can use it to escape or quickly shorten the distance to the enemy. Often you can also jump on higher floors, roofs or other high objects. You can also jump down. Remember, by jumping you use your stamina.
To perform a dash you need 10 agility skill. Quickly press the move button twice and your character will dash in a given direction at high speed. Dash uses stamina and focus. Focus is required to use the last transform and renews over time.

Chakra Control

Chakra Control is required to use jutsu. There are also a few jutsu whose power depends on chakra control. It also affects chakra nature damage along with other skills. The first stage of chakra control training is tree climbing. Use jump to jump up and down the tree. The second stage of training is walking on water. The last stage is the treatment of fish in the ninja academy. A little longer training alternative is offline training.

Attack Speed

Attack Speed makes you deal damage faster with auto attacks. You can check your current hit speed by typing !as in chat. The maximum attack speed is 290 ms, but this barrier can be exceeded by characters with attack speed bonuses. Attack speed training is based on auto attacks, but it is not effective without proper training weapons. There are several types of such weapons depending on the player's level. For faster training, thanks to these weapons, we resign from training basic attacking skills, like taijutsu, kenjutsu and throwing.

Depo

Depo is a place where you can store your items and only you have access to your depot. To open the depot, use the depot deck or press "R" to invoke the automatic use of the deck. The platform should be located in the main villages.
You will also find a depo scroll in the NSC store, which will allow you to open a deposit anywhere. Players with a premium account have a mobile depot. They can be opened from the inventory. Depo is designed so that you can keep your items in order. There you will find tabs for specific item categories, as well as stash for stackable items.

Market

The market is where players can buy or sell items to other players.
To open the market, use the market deck or press "R" to invoke the automatic use of the deck. The platform should be located in the main villages.
In the "Buy" tab, you can search for items you want to buy.
In the "Sell" tab you can see all your items for sale.
The module is created very intuitively. To sell, just drag the item to the module window and specify the price. Note that in the market you can buy and sell for two currencies, rin and NSC. Prices are for a single item.

Crafting

Crafting is creating items by combining several others. Recipes can be checked on the Crafting page in the Game info tab. You can also drag items with the appropriate Craft item annotation to the Crafting window.
To open the crafting module, use the crafting deck or press "R" to invoke the automatic use of the deck. The platform should be located in the main villages.

Backpacks

The backpack is a very important element. Thanks to it, you are able to store more items. The number of slots in the backpack is limited, and placing backpacks inside each other is blocked.
Backpacks can be upgraded with the appropriate NPC. The better the backpack (with more slots), the higher the upgrade price.
There are also inner backpacks in the game. These are items that can be crafted and can be placed in regular backpacks. In this way, you can increase the number of slots for items.

Weapons

There are three types of attacking weapons. Distance weapons, blades and gloves. Weapon has two basic values, attack and block. The attack determines the damage you make. The block determines the blocking frequency of hits. You have the ability to carry two weapons at a time, that is in the left and right hands. Carrying two weapons will cause that you will inflict more damage and you will block more often, because you will receive an additional 10% of the attack and block value of a weaker weapon.

Talents

Every time you reach 10 levels, you get a talent point.
You can use it in the Talents window under the Character tab in the upper right panel. Talent selection prevents you from selecting a counterpart talent in another category. Talents give you new possibilities and it is worth experimenting with them. Talents can be reset in the Talents window.

PvP

PvP, also known as Player vs Player, is a concept that involves players fighting. If you kill someone who has not attacked you before and you are not in his team and you are not waging war with him then you will get an unjustified kill (frag). One frag disappears 3 hours. The fight last 15 minutes for each frag and skull time last 5 minutes longer. To get a red skull, you need to get 20 frags. When you die with a red skull your post-death losses are greater. If you get 70 weekly kills (limit), you're going to prison. If you die, and the number of your frags is equal to or greater than the limit of weekly kills divided into two, you also go to prison. You can get information about your current PvP status in PvP module. You can find it in Combat tab in top right panel.

NSC Shop

NSC Shop is a module where you can buy new pets, new looks, new summons, new items for NS Coins (NSC). To display the window, click on the "NSC Shop" button at the top center of the game screen. To find out how to buy the NSC, please visit our narutostory.net site, then go to the premium tab.
Within the NSC Shop you can redeem an NSC Key which will add the appropriate amount of NSC to your account.
If you buy something that your other character already has, you will only pay 25% of the price.

Events

Events are the time in which players can take part in great fun and get great rewards. In special times in our game there are references to traditions and events related to them are organized. For example, on Halloween, players were looking for pumpkins, and on Christmas they opened an advent calendar with bonuses. To stay up to date on upcoming events, it is worth following our social media.

Commands

The commands allow you to use many functions that give you the world of Naruto Story, and the window with the commands is spread out, useful, because you do not have to remember all the commands. It is a simplified way to perform actions related to commands. The command window is located in the Game tab in the upper right panel.

Team

A team or party (we use these words interchangeably) can consist of a maximum of 5 players. These players can fight each other without the risk of starting.
To create a party, hold the Ctrl key and right-click on the future party member and press "Invite to party". Another player can accept the invitation in the same way.
You can also use the Party module, which can be found in the Combat tab in the upper right panel. There you will also find an automatic search option that will find players in your level range. You can enable experience sharing or give leader to another player. There is also a bonus in the form of experience gained with the option of sharing experience turned on. It is worth following our social media, e.g. Discord, where in the FAQ you will find exact numbers related to the exp bonus in the party.

Premium

Premium is the balance of the account and the characters on the account that can be acquired by using NSC points. In the premium tab on the website you will find options for purchasing NSC and the prices of individual packages. Each character on your account can train 18 hours a day instead of 12 using the offline training system. You have access to more missions, so-called tasks, which involve defeating a certain amount of monsters. You can own a house. It's harder to tire you and you rest faster. You are able to use advanced log, which train your avoiding skill. You can enter the server without a queue and travel on a hawk. Your character loses 20% less experience, ninjutsu, skills and money upon death. You train chakra control 2 times faster and you keep your ultimate transform 33% longer. You can log in to the second character on your account at the same time. You can claim daily rewards on the last days of the week.

Transforms

Transforms are a new form of your character. It can drain health and chakra per second, but increase the damage of your character. It can increase also the amount of your health and chakra. Your appearance may also change. There are three types of transforms, permanent, periodic and ultimate transform. The constant is switched on immediately, after reaching the appropriate level. Periodic is possible to turn on depending on your needs. And the ultimate transform is the last transform of every character which have peroid time. A player with a free account on the last transformation consumes focus in 8 minutes and 20 seconds. Premium account grants transformations for 11 minutes and 5 seconds. Focus regenerates over 16 minutes and 40 seconds.

Houses

In Naruto Story, you can have your own home. You need a premium account to buy it. If your premium account expires, your house will become unowned and will be put up for sale, and the items from the house will go to your depot. In larger houses you can often find your own medic who will sell you healing pills as well as an advanced training log. Another benefit is the possibility of having a pet, which will be a nice decoration of the house, and will also support the owners by bringing them coffee, which replenishes stamina.
The house commands are:
!buyhouse (when standing in front of the house door, you can buy a house)
!guestlist (list of players who can enter your house),
!housekick (teleport a player in front of the door),
!subownerlist (show list of co-owners, which you can edit ),
!leavehouse (Leave the house to anyone, lose the role of the owner of the house and give all the things that were there for deposit).

Skull monsters and bosses

You can meet a monsters with skulls which have much more HP and gives much more experience points. They're also stronger, so be careful. The benefit after defeating such a monster, in addition to more experience, are also gem particles that can drop from it in the form of loot. In the game you can also meet bosses, whose defeat is often associated with completing missions. It is worth noting that bosses are strong opponents and it is better to face them in a team.

Summons

Summons are your helpers in battles. Not only do they attack, they heal, they also increase your stats. We have a lot of them in the game and you can get them in different ways. They can be your character's jutsu, such as Kiba Inuzuka's Ninken. You can earn them from missions, from events or buy them in the NSC Shop. In the NSC Shop you will mainly find B+ summons, but one of them is especially liked by players and has earned an S rank. It is called Kakuzu Heart. It's a summon that doesn't affect combat, but is an auto-loot. For more information, please visit the Summons section of the Game tab on the website.

New Characters

Some characters available in the game are not available from the beginning on your account to create. To unlock them, you need to reach the appropriate level with another character. If you are interested in what characters and what levels they are, please visit our social media, e.g. Discord, where the FAQ section contains current information.

Fast Traveling

You can save time in the game by traveling with a Hawk (for premium account). The alternative to other players are a bit slower, but also useful boats. Each player has the option to purchase a Hawk Tower Scroll in the game, which will teleport to the nearest Hawk Tower.

Upgrade Items

You can upgrade items using gems. Depending on the statistics of the item, you must use such a gem. In the game we have black gems, silver gems, gold gems, diamond gems and divine gems. Gems can be obtained by exchanging 100 materials. You gain the material by destroying items with a splitting hammer. Divine splitting hammer gives more material but can be only obtained from high level monsters. The maximum item upgrade is +11. Upgrading an item carries the risk of failure. Then the upgrade level is reduced by one, or in the case of items upgraded from +9, the upgrade degrades to level 0. Up to level 6 we have a 100% chance of success, but up to level 9 the chance decreases to 50%, and up to level 11 it is 25%. Rating of items and required gems changes with upgrade.

Dragging Items

To drag a certain amount of items you need to hold ctrl. If you want to move only 1 stack of item, hold shift. If you want to put an item to your backpack much faster, you can click left mouse button two times on the item holding alt. Note that the hotkeys change as you change the control type in the game options. The methods given here are for the NS control option.

Keyboard

You can move by using arrow keys or WSAD on a keyboard.
You can turn your character by pressing either SHIFT + WSAD or CTRL + arrow keys.
You can jump by space.
Some game windows additionaly have specific shortcuts.
To do your own keyboard shortcut, go to Hotkeys module. It can be found in Game tab in right top panel.
Note that the hotkeys change as you change the control type in the game options. The methods given here are for the NS control option.
